Although Eldo Barkhuizen lived in South Africa in the 1970s and early 1980s, he is now based in the UK.
He is a university graduate with majors in English Literature, Psychology and Church History (he also studied biblical Hebrew and Greek at university and has a postgraduate teaching diploma).
In the 1980s and 1990s he taught in schools in South Africa, Namibia and England.
Eldo has supplied copywriting services to various firms since 2005.
He has also worked for 12 years as a freelance copy editor, copy-editing and/or proofreading 368 books for major publishers in the UK and US (e.g. Inter-Varsity Press, Blackwell, HarperCollins, Zondervan, Macmillan and Routledge).
